Following the launch of the 200 W, open-frame industrial power supply EPP-200, Mean Well has expanded the EPP family by raising the output wattage up to 400 W within a 127 x 76,2 mm footprint. Suitable applications for the EPP-400 series include industrial electric equipment, electromechanical instruments, factory automation systems, or electronic devices which demand low no-load power consumption.
In addition to ultra low no-load power consumption (<0,5 W) and a less-than-1U, low profile design (only 35 mm high), the units’ feature electromagnetic interference immunity to EMI Class B for Class I (with F.G.) and EMI Class A for Class II (no F.G.). These characteristics make them well suited for installation requirements for various power enclosure (such as plastic or metal) applications installed inside system cabinets.
