Viavi Solutions announced the availability of the G.fast/V35b module for the OneExpert product line, supporting the Broadcom G.fast chipset. A multitouch, user-friendly interface and OneCheck automated tests ease complex tasks with clear pass/fail results for testing copper, ASDL, VDSL, fibre, and coax based services to the home, and Wi-Fi networks within the home.
G.fast fills the gap between fibre-to-the-home deployments and VDSL2, and does so at a lower cost for service providers. This is especially important where multi-dwelling units make FTTH cost prohibitive.
