With the addition of MAX32600MBED to the ARM mbed IoT Device Platform programme, mbed engineers and IoT developers can quickly design embedded systems based on the MAX32600 microcontroller (MCU) from Maxim Integrated Products.
The board provides a convenient platform for evaluating the capabilities of the MAX32600 Cortex-M3 microcontroller, in addition to a complete, functional system ideal for developing and debugging applications. It includes a prototyping area with adjacent access to precision analog front end (AFE) connections, I/O access through Arduino-compatible connectors, additional I/O access through 100 x 100 mil headers, USB interface and other general-purpose I/O devices.
SPI and I²C connectivity on a 2 x 6 header provide connectivity to existing evaluation modules, and a USB Micro-B connection to the MAX32600 USB device controller provides a 12 Mbps user data channel.
