Mantech gains agency for industrial laser meters

14 October 2015 Test & Measurement News

Newco Instruments, a South African manufacturer of professional sensors, has appointed Mantech Electronics as the distributor for its InoxLaser laser sensors.

The result of three years of development effort is this robust, industrial range of non-contact laser range finders used to measure the distance to solid surfaces. These surfaces can be anything from a flat metal plate on an overhead crane, to the top of material stored in a silo.

With easy to use terminal software and menu system, the InoxLaser can be configured for either distance or level measurement. Its high accuracy, long range and fast update rates make it suitable for many different applications, both in harsh and safety industrial environments. Multiple power supply options are provided for, including 24 V d.c. and 110/220 V a.c. A visible laser pointer makes for easy alignment and 4 – 20 mA and relay outputs are included.

These products are now available through Mantech in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, with delivery within 24 to 48 hours.
