High-power current sense resistor

The CSS4527 from Stackpole is a 5 Watt, surface-mount current sense resistor capable of handling up to 100 A of continuous current.

Offering tolerances down to 0,5% and TCR of 50 ppm, it is ideal for precision power sensing and control. Further, the CSS series can operate at full rated power up to 100°C and can operate safely up to 225°C.

The CSS4527 is also AEC-Q200 qualified, making it useful for a wide variety of even the most demanding applications, including high-power monitoring and control, motor controls, portable electric power tools, test equipment, medical monitoring and diagnostic equipment, network communications equipment and instrumentation.
