Accord has introduced a family of rugged metal keypads for application in the industrial sector or in any system that needs to be vandal-proof. Available with 1, 2, 3 or 4 keys, the keypads are IP67 rated and can be operated in temperatures between -20°C and +60°C. They can be supplied with either blank operating surfaces or with engraved directional arrows.
The contact mechanism provides solid tactile feedback with 2 mm travel, and can withstand up to 2 million operations over its lifetime. A panel cutout of 23 mm in width and between 23 mm and 72 mm in length (depending on number of keys) is required to fit the keypads. Each key is rated to 24 V and 20 mA.
