The NCM5000 dispense pump from GPD Global makes for easy jetting and, with only two wetted parts and no seals or springs to replace or adjust, simplifies field operation.
The pump uses a reliable, high-speed pneumatic solenoid with a continuous frequency of up to 300 Hz to drive the jetting action. Its main body has
a built-in non-wetted heater to maintain optimal fluid temperature for consistent results. Additionally, it offers a low priming volume of only 0,09 cc, minimising lost materials and maximising production per fluid reservoir.
NCM5000’s two wetted parts consist of a flexible diaphragm and nozzle plate. The replaceable diaphragm is impregnated with a carbide ball and available in different materials for fluid compatibility. The nozzle plate can be configured with durable ceramic nozzles in a variety of sizes. The nozzles are easily field replaceable and do not require adjustments once replaced.
The pump has been tested with a wide range of fluids, from UV encapsulants to underfills to SMT adhesives, all with noteworthy results. If not installed on a GPD Global dispense platform, an offline controller is available for integration into the robot.
