Sensirion’s SHTC1, sized at just 2 x 2 x 0,75 mm, measures not only humidity but also temperature – across ranges and to accuracy levels of 0% to 100% RH (±3%) and -30°C to +100°C (±0,3°C) respectively. Proprietary CMOSens technology integrates a capacitive humidity sensor, a bandgap temperature sensor, analog and digital signal processing, A/D converter, calibration data memory, and a digital communication interface supporting I2C fast mode. With 1 ms delay from power-up to measurement, operating voltage of 1,8 V and an energy budget below 1 μJ per measurement, this IC is suitable for mobile or wireless applications running on the tightest power budgets.
