New from Mean Well are the GSM18/25/36 of ‘green’ medical power adaptors complying with 2*MOPP level international medical safety regulations. The 18, 25 and 36 Watt devices boast low leakage current (≤50 A), low no-load power consumption (<0,1 W) and 88% efficiency, allowing them to fulfil the high quality demands of patient contact medical applications.
The adaptors offer an 80 - 264 V a.c. input range and output voltages spanning 5-48 V d.c. Standard functions include LED indicators and short circuit, overload and over-voltage protection. The units have acquired global safety certificates per UL, CUL, TUL, CB, FCC and CE, including the home healthcare medical regulation IEC/EN60601-1-11, ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1-11.
Suitable applications include medical equipment requiring low leakage current, portable medical equipment, home healthcare equipment, and any other electrical systems with low no-load power consumption requirements.
