Planar Monolithics Industries announced the release of the DTA-100M-18G-30-CD1, a 5-bit, programmable 30 dB pin diode attenuator with step resolution of 1 dB over the frequency range of 100 MHz to 18 GHz.
The device has an insertion loss of only 5 dB typical with a VSWR of 2,5:1, attenuation accuracy of ±p;2,5 dB and a minimum attenuation step of 1 dB. It has a maximum power handling capability of +24 dBm CW with a 1 dB compression point of +20 dBm. Switching on time is a maximum of 1,0 μs while off time is 0,5 μs.
The attenuator is fitted with two 2,92 mm female connectors and a 15-pin micro-D female control connector; it is also shipped with a micro-D mating connector.
