Industrial D-Sub connectors

12 March 2014 Interconnection

Harting has developed a complete range of housings and accessories suitable for applications like industrial Fieldbus systems, power supplies and transport systems.

The InduCom range was designed to withstand the high mechanical stresses as well as the electromagnetic disturbances to which bus connections are exposed in the extremely tough environmental conditions of their typical application areas. The range includes a special D-Sub-Fieldbus interface, a simple to use access point to the bus lines of all masters and slaves in typical established networks like MVB/WTB, CAN, Profibus and FIP.

InduCom 9 includes 9-pole D-Sub connectors, male or female connectors at performance levels 1, 2 or S4. A housing with two cable entries (EMC screening >60 dB) is available equipped with M3 or 4-40 UNC hexagon socket-head screws. This InduCom housing, like the whole range, benefits from the labyrinth structure between housing and cover, which offers a lot of room for the integration of complex circuit boards in a small space.
