The STM32F401 is a new STMicroelectronics microcontroller featuring the ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit/DSP core. It boasts performance of 105 DMIPS at 84 MHz, 137 µA/MHz active current and 11 µA typical STOP current. Low power consumption, 3 x 3 mm dimensions and 105°C ambient temperature capability make the STM32F401 ideal for managing sensors for medical and mobile applications or for fieldbus-powered industrial sensor modules. The device allows zero wait-state operation from its 256 KB on-chip Flash, using ST’s Adaptive Real-Time (ART) accelerator. It integrates a 12-bit, 16-channel, 2,4 MSps ADC, 12 communication ports including USB OTG, I2S, I2C and SPI, a motor control timer, and multiple general-purpose timers.
