High-power white LED

21 August 2013 Opto-Electronics

The new XI3535 from Everlight Electronics is a top-view, 1 Watt, white LED well suited for use in lighting grade designs such as omnidirectional LED light bulbs, directional lamps, decorative lamps, panel lights and many other general and residential lighting applications.

The packaging material of the XI3535 is competitively priced and thermally efficient, allowing the LED to be driven at high current for more lumens while maintaining good service life time. Its high-reliability housing delivers low thermal resistance of 15°C/W.

The LED is offered in ANSI CCT ratings from 2700 K to 6500 K and features a light efficacy of 109/115 lm/W (warm/cool white) at 350 mA and 3 V with >80 colour rendering index; a 150 mA / 6 V version is also available. Typical flux output is 105/110 lumens.

The XI3535 has a compact size of 3,5 x 3,5 x 0,65 mm (LxWxH) and a typical viewing angle of 115°. It is lead-free and RoHS compliant and currently undergoing LM80 lumen maintenance testing (already tested successfully to 4000 hours).
