The unit is fully compatible with industry-standard Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices, providing protection to both Ethernet data pairs as well as the PoE DC power feed. It protects all networks and most data applications utilising an RJ45 connection against damage from lightning, electrostatic discharge and ground surges.
With a data transmission rate of 1000 Mbps, the arrestor supports six types of twisted pair lines (CAT 6) and has an RJ45 connecting terminal. It has a 48 V d.c. nominal operating voltage, a 1 kA (8/20 s) nominal discharge current and a 2,5 kA (8/20 s) maximum discharge current. Insertion loss is 1,0 dB and operating temperature range is -40°C to 70°C.
