Suitable for a wide range of counting applications, the Hengstler Tico 772 multifunction counter is simple to handle and to program. It is suitable for use as a tachometer, timer, shift-counter, pulse counter or batch counter, and is being used successfully in time control, position indication and rotation speed control applications. Input frequency is up to 60 kHz and signal times are programmable for up to 10 minutes.
Designed for simplicity in operation, the unit offers three presets; two with relay output and one as an absolute or trail preset. It has four large keys with which presets, prescaler and separate totaliser are configured and adjusted.
The integral 48 by 48 mm LCD display further ensures ease of use, and installation is quick due to the plug and play screw-type connection/terminal design of the counter. The counter can be used in ambient temperatures from 0°C to 50°C and is certified to IP65.
