International Rectifier has introduced a family of StrongIRFET power MOSFETs featuring ultra-low on-state resistance – down to 1,3 m – for a wide variety of industrial applications including battery packs, inverters, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), solar inverters, forklift trucks, power tools, mobility scooters and ORing and hot swap applications.
The high current ratings of these new devices (as high as 195 A) helps improve system reliability and may save on part count when replacing lower performing devices. The diverse package offering provides designers flexibility in selecting the most optimal device for their application.
