Norwe has expanded its SMD2 range of surface-mount coilformers with new EE 20 models addressing market requirements for larger-volume parts. They have solid U-shaped terminals and separate winding and soldering PCB sides to allow automatic winding and soldering of the wires.
Single- and double-section versions are available. Pick-and-place caps which fit to the top of the flanges of the coilformers enable automatic assembly of the SMD transformers.
