Circular connector for industrial applications

ITT Industries, Cannon, is offering rugged, easy-to-assemble circular connectors designed for high reliability industrial and commercial applications. Cannon's MIL-C-5015-style CA A&B interconnect features fixed (nonrotating) machined electrical contacts. The advantage of a fixed contact system is that it offers customers reduced assembly time and lower cost. The contacts are also silver-plated, which makes them especially durable and damage-resistant.
These MIL-C-5015-style connectors are offered with corrosion-resistant green zinc plating - more aesthetically appealing than cadmium. A black zinc version is also available. Zinc is environmentally friendly. Among the other features are high-strength aluminium alloy connector bodies and high-strength plastic insulators that are resistant to chipping.
The A&B connectors are available in 50 different layout options, with new layouts being added regularly. They are also intermateable and intermountable with most competitive MIL-C-5015-style connectors and with Cannon's resilient MIL-C-5015 connectors.
