5 September 2012 Enclosures, Racks, Cabinets & Panel Products

Fibox débuted its new Cardmaster 3 enclosure family, ideal for instrumentation packaging, including measurement, monitoring and process control equipment. Available in corrosion resistant polycarbonate (PC) or ABS plastic, the enclosures offer a maximum NEMA 4X rating and an IP65 rating. PC units are available UL listed.

Enclosure options include a UV resistant, hinged, smoked grey transparent cover with an easy open/easy close, quick release thumb latch and a terminal compartment with knockouts to accommodate wiring from both below and the back of the enclosure. Customisation, including holes, cutouts, finish colour and assembly, is available on all Cardmaster enclosures.

Cardmaster 3 enclosures feature two separate compartments, one for circuit boards and sensors which includes built-in card guide slots, and another for terminals and wiring.

Customers can choose from eight PC models and eight ABS models. Size selections include enclosures with outside dimensions from (H x W) 166 x 160 mm to 363 x 316 mm, and depth from 80 mm to 162 mm. Three PC enclosure sizes offer built-in, cable entry knockouts.

Several models offer three wall-mounting alternatives. The range of accessories includes front plates, back panels, covers, wall mounting lugs, hinges and latches, DIN rail support and more.
