New from M/A-COM Technology Solutions is the MAAM-009560, a highly linear, single-stage driver amplifier for use as a first or second stage amplifier in a variety of wireless infrastructure systems. The HBT based device operates within a 250 MHz to 4,0 GHz frequency range and can achieve 14,0 dB of gain with an output P1dB power of 28,5 dBm.

The output IP3 performance of the amplifier is +40 dBm over an input power range of greater than 20 dB. To maximise output linearity, the typical application circuit will offer approximately 200 MHz of bandwidth within the stated frequency range. The MAAM-009560 operates from a single +5,0 V d.c. power source consuming 250 mA, and is available in a lead-free SOT-89 plastic package.
