Tecan is a leading manufacturer of customised precision parts with over 40 years' experience. A range of innovative, photolithography-based technologies enables highly accurate, burr- and stress-free production. Micro-structure specialists at Tecan’s modern facility have breached traditional manufacturing obstacles to deliver low-cost micro-metal parts, and larger parts with ultra-fine features, for a vast new applications arena, typically covering electronics, optical, medical and aerospace.
To achieve high precision, fast turnaround, low-cost tooling and a customer-focused approach, from prototypes through to volume manufacturing, Tecan has four core technologies and solutions. This approach combines photo-etching, electroforming, high-precision laser cutting and high-quality metal finishing, to offer both single-level and multi-level stencils, lead frames, screening cans (including complex, bespoke labyrinths), hybrid lids, encoders and other bespoke metal components for the electronics industry.
Tecan’s stencils and masks are used for SMT work, wafer bumping, conductive ink deposition, OLED and solar panel manufacturing, sputtering and evaporation, and producing track widths in the sub-10 micron range.
The company will be demonstrating its capabilities on stand A1.
