The MIC5281 and MIC5282 from Micrel are linear regulators designed for noise-sensitive applications such as industrial, networking, telecom infrastructure equipment and bias power supplies.
The devices operate over a wide input operating voltage range, up to 120 V d.c., and supply an output current of up to 25 mA and 50 mA respectively. Designed for high input voltage applications, they offer ±3% initial accuracy, power supply rejection ratio above 90 dB and quiescent current of 6 μA. The devices are offered in both fixed output voltage (3,3 V/5,0 V) and adjustable output voltage (1,27 V to 5,5 V) options.
The chips operate over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range and are available in lead-free, RoHS compliant 8-pin ePad MSOP and 8-Pin MSOP package options.
