The SPS series power supply from Manson is a high-power regulated, variable voltage, constant current switch mode power supply with voltage and current indication.
The product range provides 25 A, 40 A and 60 A units which all have a voltage adjustment of up to 15 V d.c. The products are lightweight and compact in size, and cater for a variety of applications such as telecommunications, two-way radio and backup equipment, high-power car stereo work and battery charging for radio controlled hobbyists.
Digital voltage and current indication are built into the front panel, where the voltage may also be adjusted. The unit has a lock function available, which when engaged will supply 13,8 V d.c. only. Overload, over-temperature and over-voltage are standard protections, with high RFI stability, efficiency and a power factor of 0,95. The products offer a floating ground, low ripple and noise, and have a built-in thermally controlled fan.
