Q-par Angus has launched a new, compact 0,8–40 GHz omnidirectional antenna intended for ultra wideband (UWB) applications including communications, surveillance and electronic warfare. The 100 mm diameter antenna is vertically polarised with azimuth ripple typically < ±1 dB on horizon.
The antenna features gain of -2,2 to 6,9 dBi for 1 to 40 GHz, and maximum VSWR of less than 3,5:1. It weighs 720 g and measures 100 mm in diameter by 108 mm long (including connector).
