K Measure has added a new current clamp meter to its range of test and measurement equipment, in the form of the CA-1000D.
The current probe provides a non-invasive way to measure DC and AC currents from 0 up to 1000 A and with a frequency response from 0 Hz up to 400 Hz.
By using the optional banana-to-BNC adapter, the meter can also be used to measure and view current waveforms on an oscilloscope, including K Measure’s full range of handheld and PC-based oscilloscopes. The CA-1000D’s jaws can open big enough to clamp around a 57 mm conductor and also around 70 x 18 mm bus bars.
