Lantech has released two new industrial Ethernet switches compliant with EN50155/ 50121-3-2/ 50121-4 (railway applications), NEMA TS2 (traffic control systems) and e-Mark, making them suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
The IES-0008-M12 is an 8-port 10/100 Base-TX unmanaged switch with M12 connectors and IP41 protection. It supports an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to
75°C. An auto bypass function ensures the Ethernet signal connection through internal circuitry under no-power condition to provide non-stop communication to rolling stocks even when no power is present in some of the carriages.
The IPES-0008-4-M12 is similarly equipped, but provides PoE injectors on four of its ports and fully complies with the IEEE802.3af PoE standard, providing 15,4 W per PoE port at 24 - 48 V d.c. power input.
