International Rectifier’s IRS2052M is a 2-channel Class D audio IC targeted at high-performance home theatre systems and car audio amplifiers. The 200 V device features selectable dead time and programmable bidirectional over-current protection, integrated clock oscillator and clickless start and stop. The device can aid in designing stereo amplifiers and multichannel designs in a 2.1ch, 5.1ch or 6ch configuration. It is optimised to work with IR’s extensive range of digital audio MOSFETs addressing output power from 50 W to 300 W.
