The EM300 series is Ember’s next-generation ZigBee chip family that packs enhanced wireless networking performance and application code space into a low-power chipset. The EM351 integrates an ARM Cortex-M3 processor, IEEE 802.15.4 RF transceiver, 128 KB Flash and 12 KB RAM, as well as an EmberZNet PRO network protocol stack supporting the ZigBee PRO feature set. The EM357 offers identical features but ups the Flash capacity to 192 KB. The performance of the EM300 series is highlighted by low message latency, high data throughput, long battery life and extended range which virtually eliminates the need for an external power amplifier.
