Advantech’s ADAM-6521S is an industrial Ethernet-to-fibre converter with one single-mode fibre port for long distance transmissions up to 15 km. The device also works as a switch with its four industrial-grade 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports.
Like other modules in the ADAM series, ADAM-6521S can be mounted by DIN rail, wall/panel or piggyback stacking. It supports a wide voltage range of 10 to 30 V d.c. over the terminal block, and the operating temperature ranges from
-10°C to 65°C. The module supports up to 3000 V d.c. surge protection and 4000 V ESD protection for the Ethernet ports, making it reliable in harsh operating environments.
