Adlink has added two computers to its Extreme Rugged range designed for military COTS applications.
The MilSystem 735 uses Intel’s Atom N270 processor offering performance of 1,6 GHz. It is based on Adlink’s LittleBoard 735 EBX single-board computer and can be ordered with either a 32 GB solid state drive or 80 GB hard disk drive. The computer is based on the Intel 945GSE/ICH7M chipset and supports two PC/104-Plus expansion cards.
The MilSystem 840 is based on Adlink’s COM 840 and EBX baseboard, and takes advantage of the power of the Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 processor running at 1,6 GHz. Available with either a 32 GB or 128 GB solid state drive, the system offers internal expansion through Mini PCI and PCI Express Mini cards and utilises the Intel GME965/ICH8 chipset.
Both computers are packaged in passive convection cooled chassis and are tested to MIL-STD-810F standards. They support wide range input from 12 to 32 V d.c. and come pre-installed with either Windows XP Pro or Ubuntu Linux, along with additional support for Windows CE, QNX and VxWorks.
