2,4 to 2,5 GHz linear power amplifier

The MAX2242 low-voltage linear power amplifier (PA) is designed for 2,4 GHz ISM-band wireless LAN applications. It delivers +22,5 dBm of linear output power with an adjacent-channel power ratio (ACPR) of < -33 dBc 1st-side lobe and < -55 dBc 2nd-side lobe, compliant with the IEEE 802.11b 11 Mbps WLAN standard. The PA is packaged in 1,5 x 2,0 mm chip-scale package (UCSP). It consists of a three-stage PA, power detector, and power management circuitry. The power detector provides over 20 dB of dynamic range with ±0,8 dB accuracy at the highest output power level. The PA also features an external bias control pin. The device operates over a single +2,7 to +3,6 V power-supply range - on-chip shutdown reduces operating current to 0,5 µA.
