Mean Well has launched two new 304 W AC/DC power supplies – MWP-610 and MWP-610P – to fulfil the requirements for gaming machines and casino gambling equipment.
Equipped with +5 V/+12 V/+24 V triple output, both units can power different peripheral devices in the gaming machine, such as motherboard, monitor, system fan, winning indicator, coin counter and lottery printer.
With a built-in passive PFC function, the MWP-610P has a 230 V a.c. input and CE compliance. While the MWP-610 is without PFC (as well as CE mark) it is equipped with a 115/230 V a.c. input switch to suit utility input in different countries. Employing a high-frequency switching topology and built-in long life DC fan, both power supplies can function in ambient temperature between -10°C and +50°C. Standard functions include short circuit, over-voltage, overload and over-temperature protections, and power ON/OFF switch.
