Among Mornsun’s range of DC-DC converters are the K78XX-1500(L) and K78XX-2000(L) series of wide-input, non-isolated parts. The 1500 series boasts efficiency up to 95% and output current up to 1,5 A, while the 2000 series offers efficiency up to 92% and 2 A output current. Several variants are available with different input voltage ranges covering 4,75 to 18 V, with single outputs of 2,5 V, 3,3 V, 5 V and 6,5 V; versions with negative output voltages are also available.
The converters can operate in temperatures between -40°C and +85°C, and feature short circuit protection and a thermal shutdown feature. They utilise an industry-standard pinout and exhibit an MTBF of more than 2 million hours.
