DMM and current probe

21 July 2010 Test & Measurement

Tecpel’s new DMM-8061 multimeter includes functions for auto and manual ranging, true RMS, overload protection, backlight, measurement hold and delta measurement.

It complies with CAT III and CAT IV safety standards and provides data logging, including temperature logging. It also has an optically isolated RS232 port and comes with PC software that enables the user to monitor a line for transient voltages without having to actually look at the multimeter all the time.

In addition to measuring current, voltage, resistance and continuity (buzzer), the meter can also measure diodes, capacitance, frequency, duty cycle and temperature (-40°C to +1000°C). The DMM-8061 comes bundled with crocodile clamp and temperature probes, PC interface cable, PC software and user manual.

The CA-60 current probe gives its operator a non-invasive way to measure currents. It can measure DC and AC current from 0 to 60 A with a frequency response from 0 Hz up to 20 kHz. The probe comes packaged with a converter and can be used with both digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.

The products carry a one-year warranty and K-Measure, the local supplier, delivers free throughout South Africa for orders above R1000.
