Fluke visits Spescom MeasureGraph

Fluke Corporation believes that the entire southern African region shows great potential as an area of growth for its products, according to Leo Valk, Regional Export Manager at Fluke, who recently visited Spescom MeasureGraph to introduce Fluke's latest industrial test tools to the South African market.

The instruments include the Fluke 110 Series, the Fluke 170A Series and Fluke 180 Series digital multimeters and the Fluke 1520 Megohmmeter.

"Fluke, which is well established as an international leader in the field of digital multimeters, believes that it will show a substantial and rapidly increasing growth worldwide in the area of industrial electrical instruments," Valk says. "And the company aims at demonstrating equal growth potential in South Africa and its neighbouring countries. We believe that southern Africa has demonstrated its importance as an area with substantial potential for growth, and we have selected it as an area in which we want to have a strong presence. Not only as far as sales is concerned, but also in the arenas of after-sales service, support and training."

In a move to achieve this aim, Fluke established its strong and reliable relationship with Spescom MeasureGraph, and both companies are well satisfied with their mutually beneficial and strong relationship which, according to Valk, is continuously intensifying.

"With the re-organisation of Spescom last year the company is even more dedicated to Fluke's product range. Our strategies are highly compatible, and we believe that our relationship with the company will go from strength to strength in increasing our mutual business," says Valk. "As our sole southern African agent for the wide range of Fluke products, we rely on Spescom as our stronghold for growing our business on the southern tip of the African continent."

During his stay Valk visited a number of customers. "I had the opportunity to meet amongst other companies, Telkom and the SABS. It was very interesting. I learned about the companies' requirements and challenges, which are the same as that of similar companies worldwide. This enabled me not only to recommend the best testing tools but also to put them into contact with similar international companies.
