Digital multimeter for industrial use

23 May 2001 Test & Measurement

Spescom MeasureGraph has introduced Fluke's line of test tools designed for industrial, electrical and electronic technicians. The Fluke 110 series digital multimeters (DMM) comprised of the 110, 111 and 112 models offer a full-featured meter for versatile troubleshooting.

The Fluke 110 Series is the 'compact' Fluke DMM aimed at second-tier industrial, electrical and electronic, plant maintenance, and automotive technicians and engineers who need a versatile digital multimeter with a lower energy range (up to 600 V) primarily for troubleshooting. The rugged case with separate protective holster protects the meter in harsh environments and extensive safety features are built in to ensure that the unit complies with the EN61010 safety standard for industrial and electrical applications.

These easy-to-use meters feature true-RMS measurements, a 0,7% basic DC accuracy, 6000 counts of resolution and even a backlit display on the top model. All meters measure AC and DC voltage up to 600 V as well as resistance, frequency and capacitance up to 40 MOhm, 50 kHz and 10 000 µF. With the exception of the entry-model 110, the 110 series also measures AC and DC current up to 10 A. In addition, the meters offer min/max/avg recording and display hold for enhanced troubleshooting.

Fluke designed these meters to be compatible with the Fluke ToolPak accessory systems. This option provides a convenient strap and magnet hanger for maximum product versatility, freeing the user's hands for safe and effective use.
