DALI connectors

Interconnection
In building automation, both DALI-capable lighting fixtures and electronic ballasts are being increasingly used to implement individual light control applications. In order to connect two-pole DALI control lines in a convenient way, plugs and sockets, including snap-in and T-distribution connectors for branching and commoning applications, as well as cable assemblies have been added to Wago’s WINSTA MINI series.
Colour and mechanical coding prevents any confusion between the different types of connectors. Similar to standard WINSTA MINI components, conductors ranging from 0,35 mm²2 to 1,5 mm² can be used and connected via cage clamps in a convenient and reliable way. DALI-capable components have the special benefit of the possibility of dimming lights from a central location or of implementing a daylight-dependent control system.
