Trojan Battery is offering a range of absorbed glass mat (AGM) batteries for heavy-duty cycling applications. The batteries are designed to provide maintenance free convenience with no watering required, and their robust AGM plate design ensures a long lifetime. The 6 V d.c. batteries are available in capacities up to 260 Ah, and are targeted at applications that require sealed batteries with heavy-duty cycling capabilities or for backup power, such as golf carts, aerial work platforms, renewable energy, floor machinery, marine/recreational vehicles and commercial/heavy duty trucks.
Rugged construction techniques are employed for enhanced vibration resistance and a durable polypropylene case protects against damage in heavy service applications. The certified sealed/non-spillable (UN2800) batteries are approved for air, sea and ground transportation, and their removable carrying handles enable easy lifting and installation. They feature a flame arrestor pressure vent for overall safety.
