Nuvoton recently added ARM Cortex-M0 based models to its 32-bit family of NuMicro microcontrollers (MCUs). The devices are capable of performance up to 0,9 DMIPS/MHz at a power consumption of 85 μW/MHz.
The new family includes the NUC140 ‘Connectivity’ line featuring CAN, LIN and USB interfaces; the NUC130 ‘Automotive’ line with CAN and LIN interfaces; the NUC120 ‘USB’ line with only a USB interface; and the NUC100 ‘Advance’ line with none of the above. All of these devices feature up to 128 KB Flash ROM and up to 16 KB SRAM, and peripherals including UART, SPI, I²C, 32-bit timers, 12-bit ADC, PWM, GPIO and watchdogs.
The MCUs require just two pins for debugging, thanks to their SWD (serial wire debug) interface. Functionality includes target auto-detection; run, stop and single step; Flash download and verify; read/write registers and memory; and interleaved source disassembly.
The devices are available in 48-, 64- and 100-lead, RoHS compliant LQFP packages.
