The right-angled connectors MCO and MKDSO from Phoenix Contact are now available in 3,5 mm pitch. In comparison to connection technology in 5 mm pitch, it is now possible to connect one additional pin to each terminal point. Versions with three, four and five pins are available. With their compact size, these terminals offer sufficient space for connecting wires with cross-sections of 1,5 mm². The angled male headers allow them to be connected to vertical PCBs.
It is also easy to combine 3,5 or 5 mm pitch headers in the same housing. Thus data and power supply wires in devices can be plugged or permanently soldered. Many different PCB connections are possible using the various combinations of different screw or spring cage connectors.
