The ECW-281B-ATOM from IEI is a fanless embedded industrial PC employing the 1,6 GHz Intel ATOM processor.
It offers four USB 2.0 ports, six RS232 ports and dual Realtek Gigabit Ethernet ports to meet the communication requirements of most applications. The system comes standard with 1 GB DDR2 system memory which is upgradable to 2 GB.
There are two models available, the first using a 12 V d.c. power supply and the second having a wide d.c. input range of 9 V–36 V, typically useful for vehicle applications where DC voltages are prone to spikes and unpredictability. Both units have the option of built-in GbE Wireless LAN. They can either use an internal 2,5” SATA hard drive or Compact Flash drive for the operating system and storage. The unit measures 132 x 229 x 64 mm and can be mounted on DIN rail or VESA 100 wall mounts.
