Sunpower has released two new series of single-output 50 W DC-DC converters with a variety of output voltages.
The SDS-050L-xx and SDS-050M-xx ranges are designed to accept DC input voltages in the range of 9,5 V to 36 V and 19 V to 72 V, respectively. Both series can source 9 A at 5 V output, 4,2 A at 12 V, 2,1 A at 24 V and 1,1 A at 48 V. The units are fuse protected at the input and include overload, over-voltage and short circuit protection, as well as protection against reverse input polarity.
The converters feature input and output isolation, as well as an inrush current limitation soft start function. They offer ±10% output voltage adjustment, and their 100% full load burn-in test enables the manufacturer to offer a two-year warranty.
