The EM1202 from Tibbo is a third-generation Ethernet module built exclusively for use with TAIKO – Tibbo’s rapid programming solution that includes Tibbo BASIC language, Tibbo IDE software, and TiOS operating system.
Despite its small dimensions of 17 x 19 x 14,6 mm, the module features four serial ports, 32 general-purpose I/O lines, and a 512 K/1024 K onboard Flash disk. It boasts an 88 MHz purpose-built CPU and a 100BaseT Ethernet port. The TTL serial ports support baud rates up to 1,8 Mbps, with full- and half-duplex communications and optional automatic flow control.
The module operates at 3,3 V and consumes 230 mA. It has four status LED control lines and features a variable-frequency buzzer control pin. Its internal firmware is upgradeable through either the serial port or the network port.
