JDSU’s new handheld HP3-60 display system is a low-cost solution for inspecting and testing fibre networks. It combines both fibre inspection and optical power measurement in a single handheld device.
The display system provides high-quality image resolution in a compact, portable design. The integrated power meter offers quick, easy and accurate field measurements of optical power and attenuation. Easy pushbutton operation makes the device straightforward to use, which is enhanced by a streamlined inspect-test process.
A probe and patch cord microscope on the HP3-60 allows users to see the end-face of a fibre-optic connector on a 1,8 inch TFT LCD.
