In response to miniaturisation and ever-increasing connection densities, Phoenix Contact has added the FMCD 1.5/… double-level plug to its FMC range of flat plugs. When used in conjunction with the matching MCDN THR header, the overall height is just 16 mm. The plugs enable two contact rows to be quickly connected or disconnected simultaneously.
A further advantage offered by this spring-cage plug is the convenient direct plug technology that allows wires up to 1,5 mm² to be connected. The plugs are available with three to 16 pins and a variant with a self-locking flange is also available on request.
