SDRAM ICs break 135 MHz barrier

AMIC Technology has released two new low-power SDRAM modules operating down to 1,8 V and at frequencies up to 135 MHz.
The A43E26161 is arranged as 4 million words of 16 bits each and operates over a voltage span width from 1,65 to 2,2 Volts. It is available in a compact CSP54 and TSOP54 lead-free packages with 0 to 70°C, -20 to +85°C and -40 to +85°C temperature ranges.
The A43E16321 is arranged as 2 million words of 32 bits each to support 32-bit processing applications. It is available in CSP90 and TSOP86 packages for temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C.
The devices’ synchronous design allows precise cycle control with the use of the system clock, with I/O transactions possible on every clock cycle. A range of operating frequencies and programmable latencies allow the same IC to be used for a variety of memory system applications.
