Crouzet has improved on its GN series of solid state relays by achieving compliance with the IEC IP20 touch safe regulation, through their use of a clear plastic cover accepting larger size wire terminals suitable for up to #6 AWG wire and featuring an unrestricted view of wire installation. The overall height of the relay has also been reduced by 2 mm. These new relays feature the same improvements as the IP20 versions, but without the clear IP20 protective cover.
In addition, several new features are now available including an improved base plate for better thermal conductivity, easier removal of the IP20 cover with a standard #1 flat blade screwdriver and a clear plastic cover for ease of wiring.
