As a result of extensive design studies mec launched its switch option: the Multimec switches with the 1N cap.
The 1N cap can be positioned in eight different directions giving a revolutionary freedom for the front panel designer. The cap is available in five different colours and a transparent version for illumination of the cap. Custom colours can be made on request.
The Multimec switches have a minimum lifetime of 10 million operations and an IP67 sealing rating. The standard version has recently been upgraded to 115°C working temperature; high temperature versions extending the working temperature limit to 160°C and surface mount versions are also available.
