The Datamate Mix-Tek range from Harwin offers a wide range of signal, power and coaxial contact combinations within one compact connector housing. With up to 50 signal or 12 power or coaxial contacts, this versatile connector system offers thousands of possible designs.
The Harwin manufacturing technology employed to produce this series is a flexible process which allows both small and large quantities to be made to order, making the Datamate Mix-Tek a customer designed product. Once a customer has chosen which combinations of signal, power and coax contacts they require, Harwin will create the drawings for confirmation and approval to ensure that what is built is exactly what was desired.
The flexible tooling system is assembled to manufacture the parts for quantities as few as 10 pieces. These parts are then assembled and inspected prior to packaging and dispatch. From order placement through drawing creation, manufacture of parts, assembly and packaging to the dispatch of finished goods in between eight and 10 weeks.
The connectors offer performance characteristics such as 3 A current rating for signal contacts, 20 A for power contacts and up to 6 GHz operating frequency for coax contacts.
