In 1992 Dartcom was appointed a sole agent and distributor in the Republic of South Africa and selected African countries for Huber+Suhner AG. Huber+Suhner is the largest manufacturer of coaxial cables and connectors in Switzerland.

Dartcom has built a successful business on the Huber+Suhner product range. The company also represents several overseas companies with strategic and complementary products to Huber+Suhner. Dartcom became part of the CIE Group in 1997 to expand its position in the market place. CIE injected additional capital and expertise into Dartcom which has resulted in strong growth for the company.

Dartcom is a specialist distributor of radio frequency (RF) and fibre-optic communications components, sub-systems and accessories. It says it is committed to client satisfaction and exceptional service levels to the communications industry in Africa.

Products represented in South Africa by Dartcom include: Huber+Suhner; Fimo; Lemo; Sigma; Superior Cables; and Arlon.
